The Central Florida City has numerous top-notch jiu jitsu gyms, including several from some of the world’s best affiliations. Orlando Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Orlando BJJ is located in the South Orange neighborhood of Orlando is a *big* gym in multiple senses. With a 15,000 sq.foot training facility, Orlando BJJ offers over 50 classes per week for jiu jitsu, judo and muay thai.

Orlando BJJ is owned and operated by 4th degree blackbelt Brad Thompson who is supported by 3 other blackbelt coaches. The academy offers a free private introductory class every Sunday for those interested in joining. There is also an entire program dedicated to children’s self defense.

Atos Orlando

Atos Orlando is one of the many affiliates of the Atos Jiu Jitsu affiliation (the 4th ranked affiliation in the world). The school located in South Orlando lives up to the Atos name. The academy is run by Christophoros Constantinidis, a 3rd degree blackbelt under BJJ legend Andre Galvao himself.

Atos Orlando offers 17 adult jiu jitsu classes per week as well as kids classes for young children and older children. Furthermore, despite being well known for its brand of jiu jitsu, Atos Orlando also offers woman’s only boxing and self-defense classes. Potential new members can take their first class for free.

The Jungle MMA and Fitness

Located in Colonial Town North is The Jungle MMA. For those looking for jiu jitsu with an MMA slant, The Jungle may be the best place for you in Orlando. Lead MMA/jiu jitsu instructor Mike Lee is a 3rd degree blackbelt and professional MMA fighter. He is supported by numerous other blackbelt coaches with MMA backgrounds.

The Jungle offers BJJ, muay thai, karate, boxing and of course MMA. The gym also offers a kids program that covers jiu jitsu, kick boxing, wrestling and MMA.

Gracie Barra North Orlando

Gracie Barra is the top ranked affiliation in the world by the IBJJF in terms of competition performance. That excellence continues in Gracie Barra North Orlando.

The North Orlando location offers over 18 adult jiu jitsu classes per week which are run by four blackbelt instructors. Head instructor Gustavo Muggiati is a 4th degree blackbelt and world champion competitor. As with all GB gyms, North Orlando offers several kids classes per week making it one of the most kid friendly jiu jitsu schools. GB North Orlando also offers muay thai classes.

In Southwest Orlando there are two Ace MMA and Fitness gym locations. Ace is a true MMA gym that gives equal focus to the ground game in jiu jitsu, and the standup game in muay thai, boxing and judo.

Ace MMA is the only gym in Orlando that offers kids classes specifically for judo for those who are interested in having their kids develop a strong standup game. Finally Ace also offers yoga classes in addition to its martial arts offerings.

Fabin Rosa Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy

Fabin Rosa BJJ Academy has multiple locations in the Orlando area, the main one close to the city center, one in Lake Nona, St Cloud and Altamonte Springs. The academy is owned and operated by Fabin Rosa, a Brazilian native who brought his talents to Central Florida where he has trained the regions best MMA fighters.

FRBJJ offers more than just jiu jitsu – also having multiple muay thai classes per week plus one judo class every Friday in all of its locations. FRBJJ also has a kids program that operates Monday thru Saturday. Potential members can get their first week of classes for free!

Renzo Gracie Orlando

The Renzo Gracie academy is one of the most respected academies in the world. The one based in Orlando upholds the Renzo Gracie name and offers top notch instruction for adults, teens and kids.

Renzo Gracie Orlando focuses on just jiu jitsu and does not offer other martial arts. The academy does however have classes designated for young children, older children and even teenagers apart from the adult class.

Broc Hooten BJJ

Located in Southeastern Orlando just above the airport is Broc Hooten BJJ. The academy found by blackbelt and U.S. Army Veteran Broc Hooten.

BHBJJ offers jiu jitsu for both adults and children. Members also get access to MMA and wrestling classes for those who want to also learn striking martial arts and develop a takedown game.

Central Florida BJJ

In southern Orland you can find Central Florida BJJ – owned and operated by 2nd degree blackbelt Professor Alex “Cavalo”. Alex has over 2 decades of jiu jitsu experience he is eager to share with members of Central Florida BJJ.

CFBJJ focuses only on jiu jitsu for both adults and children. You will not find other martial arts at the school. CFBJJ has two classes every evening Monday thru Thursday and is closed Friday thru Sunday.
